Thyolo Roasted Green is an easy drinker, ideal for everyday tea. It is named after the local area, Thyolo, which is also the name of this tea's cultivar. This green tea has full, whole leaves with little breakage. The result is a smooth, soft texture and light, slightly nutty flavors.
The tea is harvested by hand, withered, then pan-roasted. The finished tea is then slightly fermented. The flavor profile includes notes of chestnuts, fresh greens, and roasted vegetables. Works well as an everyday green tea, served straight without any additives.

Recommended Brewing Instructions: Use 3-4g of leaves per 8oz (240ml) of water. Brew at 175F-185F for between 1-2 minutes. Like many green teas, this tea is sensitive to high temperatures and will become bitter when oversteeped.
