The Tea

Heritage Masala Chai is a collaborative creation of the Heritage Tea Assam community. The blend is made by Rajen Baruah's wife, June Baruah. Black tea is used as the base, crafted by Rajen and June's son, teamaker Ishan Baruah. The spices are grown by Rajen's small grower network in Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh.

Ingredients: Assam CTC black tea, Assam Pekoe black tea, cardamom, clove, cinnamon, bay leaf.
