Known as "black tea" in Western tea culture, red teas tend to have a bright, full flavor with a beautiful scarlet liquor. PT Harendong has crafted this fine tea in the style of its roots in China, with a distinct sweet, well-rounded taste that is milder than the more robust Indian-style black teas.

When brewed at the correct parameters, this black tea exhibits almost no bitterness and astringency, which is great for tea drinkers who like black tea but prefer a smoother profile.

Grown on an all-natural farm in the Halimun Mountains, located near Gunung Halimun-Salak National Park. PT Harendong's team uses all-natural methods to grow their teas, and they are are certified organic by IMO International according to EU, USDA/NOP, JAS and COR standards.
