Doke Diamond Green
Doke Diamond Green is a green tea from Bihar, India. It is developed by Neha Lochan, the grower family's middle daughter. She is creating new teas for the refined palate, while also working to expand tea education. Her family's beautiful tea estate, on the banks of the Doke River, is dedicated to local and international causes.
Hand-rolled, with beautiful, fluffy leaves, this tea is made only in small batches. Each set of leaves is processed to complement the seasonal variations in the harvest. The fragrance wafts up luxuriously from the leaves, with a delicious, deep vegetal aroma. The flavors are an interesting contrast between sweet-tart cherry flavors and earthy, mineral undertones. The texture is sharp, delivering a clean, strong finish.
How To Brew
Use 2 grams (1 teaspoon dried tea leaves) for 8 fl. oz. water in your favorite teapot or infuser (use bottled drinking water for best flavor, let boil and steep at 176F). Steep for 2-3 minutes. Leaves may be infused at least 3 times.
These are suggested brewing instructions. We encourage you to experiment and share your own brewing methods as you continue to grow in the tea culture. If you're new to tea this is a good way to start.
